Hello,
I am David. I am originally from Scotland but now live and work in Northern Ireland as a firefighter. I have wanted to dive for as long as I can remember, but have only recently qualified as a BSAC Ocean diver. I am interested in a number of watersports including sailing and kayaking. I recently bought a Scrambler XT and intend to use it as a dive platform. Hopefully I will progress to BSAC Sport Diver this summer. My club is North Down Divers attached to Ballyholme Yacht Club. We are situated at Bangor on the South shore of Belfast Lough. I would be interested in hearing from anybody who has tried kayak diving. Hope to hear from you soon. ;-)

Hi David! Welcome to Scubaboard!

Great introduction...fascinating!

Scotland...brrrr. ;) (nah...I come from a rather "less temperate zone myself ")

Since there are such a diverse group of divers belonging to SB...if you have a particular interest, I'm sure you'll find others who share it right here.

There is a search feature at the top of the page! Very handy. Try "kayaks" or "diveyaks".
Safe diving!

:azvatar: Hello there David, My name is Matt and I wanted to welcome you to the community. I think it’s the best board on the internet for divers. The people on here make it a really friendly place. It’s a great place to see what’s going on with divers. Just wanted to make you feel welcome! If you’d like to chat, please PM me.

Take care and Safe Diving.
