Thanks but I no longer do etc diving and was hoping someone who does may want to take it on as a back up or spare. Once again thanks. The $400 'value' is pretty inflated.
It's possible to do yourself, but if you don't want the hassle there are places that will do it at a reasonable cost
Dive Computer Battery
I have never used these guys, but I know of others that have and had a good experience.
You may want to just keep it after that.
Thanks northern one, i know where i bought it but i have not the receipt. I think I will send it to UWATEC and see if they will do it.
Aqualung does not sell online as a general rule so if you're buying a computer online (unless it's Divers Supply or a few others) it's not being purchased from an Authorized Dealer. If you're buying from Leisurepro - read the fine print - they offer their own equivalent warranty instead. Even when AL experimented with online sales thru Shopatron - one of the requirements was pickup at your local dealer. How do they know if this been purchased from an authorized dealer or not?
For example I order an aqualung computer online,
And then when it needs servicing I just take to a shop (not mine cuz they'll know I didn't buy it from them) that IS an authorized dealer...????
