I have completed the closed water dive portion of my PADI certification and am heading to Jamaica next week. Hopefully I will certify the open water dive portion at the Sandals in Montego Bay. Have any of you done this at a Sandals Resort? I have my own skin, fins, mask and gloves. Is everything else provided - what is the reliability of equipment provided there? Any surprises I should be aware of before I get there? Anything else I should remember to take along?

See you on the top side!

Welcome to the board!
They should provide you with quality gear.
Bring sunscreen and lots more money then you think you need! That is how my vacations go!

No experience needed and it feels great!

I don't know anything about Sandals, but you might want to check on the travel section - there's lots of good info there about local resorts and operators.

Good luck with your cert, and safe travels. Welcome to the Board,
