Hello From Ventura CA

Hi

I am a new diver (certified in August 2008) but have quickly falling in love with this wonderful sport. So far I have completed my night diving specialty and am working on my underwater photography specialty. I live in Ventura, California and am lucky enough to have the Channels Islands in my back yard (so to speak). Fantastic diving and amazing diversity. Cheers, Cathy

Yes, I am in love with the Channel Islands as well. Nice to see women not afraid of the cold water. I'll be diving down there over Thanksgiving, yeah!

Yep, the Channel Islands certainly are fantastic for diving. It's pretty interesting to go from the warmer water in the east (Anacapa) to the chilly water in the west (San Miguel) and see the changes in species composition.
