Just new to diving (in practice) since march, And new to this board as of hello. I was having a hard time finding available info on local diving outside of the LDS/instructor, and stumbled across this place. I have already had some questions answered and enjoyed stories from the field.
I am awaiting the arrival of my dry suit which will complete (like you ever can) my gear collection. I look forward to all the diving yet to come and also to hearing more stories and opinions here on scubaboard.

You have some of the best diving cold water diving in the world in your back yard! What part of the Island do you live in?
We dive often around Nanaimo, Victoria & Sydney.

Keep learning, enjoy your dives & stay safe!
