Hello from the UAE

Hello all. Have always wanted to dive but could never "find" the time to get certified. I am in the UAE for the next couple of years and took the plunge and signed up. I am diving out of Al Boom Diving in Dubai. Joined this to get information as I make purchases in the next few weeks/years to build my diving equipment. Al Boom carries Aqua Lung, Cressi lines of gear. Are they reputable equipment? Overpriced?

I just rented a Aqualung Balance, and I did not like it at all. It is the back inflation style that I do prefer, but has no lumbar support for the tank, so my back is now tweaked from the experience. Basically I could feel the plastic tank cradle or holder digging into my lower and mid back, after 30 min I was seriously considering ending the dive.

That being said I ordered off of Leisure Pro web site and found they offer reasonable shipping rates to Dubai using UPS.
