Hello byrd, I seen you posted a month ago also. Diving in spokane is limited and there are dives if you look them up on search. New to diving, you must need air, your local shop can take care of local diving.
Go to the used book store and look for dive guide books, usually betty pratt johnson is around and the most informed, 99 dives, 141 dives, and the newest one 151. northwest shoredives is another.
When you hit puget sound, you will be able to navigate your way around. you can google for personal websites of the dive areas, yet all there info is from these books, these dives have been around for many years. If you go to the orca bait section and ask ? on dives, you will get help. You will get directed to another local forum board, they troll this board to get members for there board. If you read the post of new divers to the area on the orcabait you will see they get redirected to there forum.
Now For the Knowledge of a new diver you came to a fantastic place, a wealth of seasoned divers, and way to many instructors, as there is where you will see the debates on almost anything.
Welcome Byrdman, and enjoy the new geographical area you are about to explore, and the scuba world according to scubaboard.
