Hello from the Philippines

Hi Everyone!

Relatively new here and its amazing to find divers who are as crazy about diving as I am!!!!

I got certified last May and have been in diving bliss since! Have had about 20+ dives already and its been awesome! I live in the Philippines and its nice to dive almost all year round. If any of you plan to dive here, let me know, perhaps I can give you some information.

Welcome! The Philippines is a great place to dive. I'll be at Alona Beach in December for Divemaster training. If they give me a break I'll head over to Anda in Bohol to check out the diving there too. Last year I did Dumaguette, Apo, Siquijor, and Simulan - it was wonderful. Big turtles, big cuttlefish, big Napolean fish, big barracuda, and octopus on the night dives.

Congratulations on your cert. Enjoy diving there as some of us only get to go dive warm water once or twice a year. If you are ever here in the San Fran area and you are feelling adventurous you should try diving Monterey.

Welcome! Welcome to the board and more importantly....to the underwater world. You will never find anything else so beautiful in my opinion. There is a wealth of knowledge to be found on this board as there is plenty of experience and many many diving professionals here.
