Hey all, scuba virgin here. I get certified in about 3 weeks or so but figured I'd get on the boards here and start finding the good gear to buy and good places to dive. Speaking of which, check out the Basic Scuba Discussion forum for my first gear question. Well I look forward to diving around here in the fall and then doing some diving trips next year. Anyone in the TN area give me a shout if you want a diving buddy.

Hey PePaw, filled out my profile a bit more, sorry that wasn't done earlier. I'm using MTSS as that is where my friends got there certification done. Unfortunately I haven't been buying gear from MTSS, there prices are a bit high for me. I've looked at Scuba Supply on Donaldson and American Scuba on Pewitt and really like dealing with Barry and Jim. I hope to get certified soon and then see you guys at the quarries.
