Hello from Texas

I have been diving since 1982. I love the Mayan coast of Mexico for recreational diving. I have a small business working in the highland lakes of central Texas, recovering, cleaning, and installing things. I am retired, and currently taking more classes. I joined this forum to look for a good printable logbook page.

Hi from Matt,

Welcome to Scuba Board, the friendliest place on the internet for divers. You will meet many informative divers here. Hope you enjoy it here, I know I do!
Take care,
Matt :bang:

Welcome to the board!

Welcome to Scubaboard,
I myself lived in Texas just a few short months ago.
Now I live in sunny Florida and am getting hit by my second hurricaine in 3 weeks.

Take a few minutes to fill out your profile it under the control panel options.

Also be sure to check out your local divers club page.

Have fun,
-Mike

Welcome to ScubaBoard! :happywave

I was currently looking at a log book that some of our members in California were talking about. Here is the thread if you want to directly ask any of the people that are using it a question:

http://www.scubaboard.com/t70192-anyone-here-use-scubase-as-a-dive-log.html

And here is the website for the log book itself:

http://www.scubase.net

I don't dive with a computer and was looking for an electronic log book that I could enter information into from my hand written notes that would give me a nice readable, searchable and printable format for the future. By the way, it appears that data can be imported from many different types of computers if you do use one.

Hope this helps.

Visit our Texas Swamp Divers forum to find out what's going on in your local area and find some new dive buddies.

Dive safe!

P.S. Due to the high volume of new posts in the Introductions and Greets forum, it's not always possible to keep up with all the new posts here. So, please help me out and send me a PM if you post anything you want me to read or repsond to in this forum.

Welcome to the board, glad you found us!!! You will find lots of very informative forums with great & friendly people here.

Don't know if this is what you are looking for, but try www.d-log.com

Drop us a note if you are down H-Town, I am sure at least one of us will go diving with you.

safe diving,
Maria

Howdy Tex!

I just want to join the others in welcoming you to SB. Hope to get to know you around the forums.

It's gonna' be a little quite around here for the next week, as our Florida friends hunker down to hide from a big storm, :sofa: then get their electricty going again, and many other members enjoy the holiday weekend. I'm In Ontario to dive the St.L myself, but I brough my laptop with me.

Completing your Profile and seperately - keeping your Dive Info up to date helps in future diving instructions. PM me if I can help you learn your way around.
