I'm from Sunny Queensland too! I'm much further south than you though!

I intend to visit Hervey Bay and Cairns and go diving there. What's the diving like around Hervey Bay?

Welcome to the board. My wife was in Australia last summer. She dove in Exmouth (I think I spelled that correctly). She told me it was like diving in to "Finding Nemo". The reefs had such vivid colors it was almost like someone colored them with bright paint. I hope to experience this someday. Happy diving.
