Welcome to ScubaBoard Anthony.

Lake Minnewaska is a dead lake - no fish whatsoever....high lime concentration I was told. That is evident when you touch down and white clouds puff up. Nothing to see there, not worth the effort.

Welcome from a Yonkers, NY native. Whereabouts in CT? I'm in Westchester Co.,NY each summer and shore dive such exotic spots as Pleasure Beach (near New London), Hammonassett State Park (Meiggs Pt.), Merwin Point, etc. Love that 12' diving. Any tips for other shore areas (that are LEGAL and you can park....)?
Hey My whole family is from Yonkers, been diving in NR, Mamaroneck area for years, now I’m in Danbury and diving mostly in Candlewood since it’s practically in my backyard

welcome....i was born in Stamford, lived in New Haven for awhile amd was later stationed in Groton. I still have family living along the I95 corridor in southern CT.

Cool, I’m in Danbury but always go to Stamford, it’s really changed, awesome place to hang out

Hope you get back in the water for some safe fun diving. New England Dive Shop in Wallingford is a great shop with nice folks.

What part of Yonkers? I grew up on Nodine Hill.
Re New Rochelle & Mamaroneck--- I don't suppose you mean shore diving? I looked around for years there for something closer to where I am in the summer (Croton).
