I just finished greeting a guy who advised to buy your equipment early to get you to diving often, then I see how yours kept you at diving long enough to get you hooked. Seems like great advice.
You wondered why it took you so long to get into diving, I think that's an easier question to answer than mine; I began diving in 1970 in Hawaii, then spent thirty-two plus years out of the water, twenty-four without reason, why/how could I do that? Best answer: forget it, dive like you'll never make it up.
