Hello from Southern Ontario...getting back into diving...

Hello all,

Used to do a bit of diving about 10-14 years ago, looking to get back into it. I've been motivated by having travelled to the Carribean over the last 4 years, and while snorkeling is fantastic...

I'm a bit lost as to what is in the "now" for equipment. I used to have a Dacor Flytepack BCD with back inflation and weight pockets...but now I don't even know what brands are making (or still making) good equipment.

Hope to do some learning here.

Welcome to ScubaBoard; there is a little something for everyone. New equipment is a relatively common post. I would reach as many of those first and narrow your inquiry down to a few types of equipment, than pose the question in either the genral scuba discussion forum or the equipment forum.
