Hope to see you in the water someday soon. Know it a ways off, but there will be a bunch of fun loving divers over in Avalon diving the Casino Point on Oct. 30th...great place to get wet.

hi

welcome to the forum

where will i get your mailing address?

welcome

does your college have a dive club? upland is off the coast, but lots of colleges have dive clubs in the greater valley to SB area

Socal beach diving is the best. I did lots of beach dives while at UCSB. great dives right off campus point, end of Del Playa, 1000 steps, and patch reefs between gaviota and ventura. And the people that I met there I am still diving with 30 years later

of course hassan, it doesn't matter about your age, if you are a new diver, go with us on 10 trips (20-30 dives) having an open mind or i should say being objective driven, and i am willing to say that you will be on your way to being supercharged in your experience level, maybe by then. i just got back from 2 dives tonight, well one and maybe the second one finished by midnight 10/03. they were nice. viz was maybe 3-5 then got to maybe 8ft. shallow dives both so warm water. the last dives before that were on saturday at 12:01 and maybe 1:30 am 10/02, they were alot more difficult because the tide was out making entries extremely difficult over the slimy rock and through the thick soup kelp laying all over the surf zone with 3+ breakers hitting us pretty hard. anyway they were like all dives just another aspect of a kick in the but dives. so i'll keep looking here if you want to go we'll tell you were to meet us. and as far as making you feel at home on this site. i'm new here so, hey make yourself at home and have a good one.

Hi all, I'm also new here. Well I have been lurking the forums since early 2010. I got certified OW in July and AOW in Aug (both in 2010). Anyway I'm up for shore diving Thrs, Fri, and Sat. Mostly Laguna Bch but want to try LA Co. I have 14 logged dives. I did some lobster hunting at Catalina opening night on the Magician (got my first bug at 83 feet), and I dove the Yukon a few weeks ago. I.E. resident looking to get wet. Welcome lilsheep68.

Anyone wanna dive?
