Hi,

I've been a member of the board here for a couple years, and I've made a few posts, but I've never posted here and introduced myself.

My name is Joe. I live and dive in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. A great place for both (with its own unique pros and cons).

I've been certified for about 12 years, but have done most of my diving in the last 3 or 4 years. I spend most of my dives on reefs in the 30'-40' range, but enjoy wrecks and reefs in deeper water as well. As my skills and experience improve I would like to explore some more advanced dives also.

My favorite dream dive trips would be cage diving with GWs in Guadalupe, exploring the Great Barrier Reef in Australia, and maybe the Galapagos or Cocos island to see sharks, and oh... about 1000 other places ;)

Well, anyway... I enjoy this website. Its a great exchange of information on something we all love.

Later,
Joe

Hey Joe!
A late welcome.

Hi Joe and welcome to SB. I see you already met Joe. Very nice first post for the introductions. We do have many places we would like to dive and SB has a wealth of information to help get us there.

Hiya, I hope by now you know about the Florida Conch Divers Forum, its where the locals hang out. The Trips and Happenings section is where the trips are posted. Any posted trip is an invitation to join the fun.
Do you do any beach diving? There are a few of us here that beach dive pretty regularly, you are welcome to join us.

Nice to have you in the Intros forum. Stick around and welcome some others if you'd like...?

Joe

Trying to set up a dive for this evening. Hibiscus St. (2 blocks south of Commerical) PM me if you want directions, and/or want to dive.

Hello Joe,
:yl2jump: Welcome to ScubaBoard! I came here to look for help with my scuba diving dream and the response has been fantastic. So, I know you will enjoy being a member here. There are a lot of nice and informative scuba divers. It's a good place to meet other divers and share experiences and dreams. Take care and Happy Diving. Matt. :snorkels:
