S'up SB? Been on here reading constantly for the last few weeks and love what I see!

I've been diving for 15 years and currently hold a PADI rescue certification. My wife is AOW.

As a previous Florida resident, all of my experience is in warm water diving, but we have been doing our first few cold water dives in Monterey recently... All shore dives from the breakwater so far. We would love to meet anybody from the area that wants to go diving with us and show us some local treats!

After a recent 3 month motorcycle adventure in SE Asia, we have decided that it's time for a career change, and I will be signing up for my Divemaster course soon. I also hope to work on some TDI TechXR courses this summer as well. Any input or advice is always welcome...

We're a very friendly dive club, with no dues, no officers and no meetings. We go diving at least once a month and always welcome new divers and those new to diving the North Coast.
 
Hi Neighbor & welcome aboard. Sounds like a great adventure in SE Asia! I've traveled there quite a bit too ;-).

Unfortunately to this point I've done all warm water dives so probably am no help locally. Just collecting gear for the local scene. There's a local a meet and greet before too long - I think you'll find it on the previously mentioned No Cal Divers site.

Stick around SB! There is amazing amounts of info here! & good luck with your DM!
 
Thanks everybody! Look forward to talking and hanging out. My fiance and I have been thinking of heading north before the end of the summer, so I'm sure you'll see me snooping around the NorCal forum from time to time...

He he just realized I said "wife" before... Not quite "wife" yet but soon! August 3rd Save the Date!! :)
