I have just been certified OW (June 2017). Did my certification in one of the top diving spots in the world which was in Redang Island, Malaysia. Will be going for my next dive soon in Langkawi. Cheers

Do a mangrove tour in Langkawi its tons of fun.
If you're in Penang, I highly suggest you get your ass to Sipadan.
Together with Raja Ampat I call it the holy grail of diving.
Schools of whirling barracuda, a dozen sea turtles of varying species, a handful of sharks, and a teeming reef of angelfish, triggerfish, morays, and gobies all on one dive.
