Hello Folks,

I just wanted to say "hello" from sunny Panama City Beach, Florida. I have been a long time reader of this board and have learned many valuable things. I just started diving about a year ago so I am still a "newbie". Now that it is getting into spring I am getting the craving again to get back into the water. If anyone makes it down to PCB let me know! Would love to do some dives with some new people.

Welcome to scubaboard Biggen. Big group of us diving the St. Andrews jetties on March 12th. It would be great if you would come out and dive with us. Refer to this thread about the dives:

Ugh... If it were one week later I could. My wife just took a new job down in south Florida and I am helping her move down that weekend. I am going to stay up her for a couple of months (probably till May) and tie up some loose ends before I make the move down.

Hopefully we can all get together another time. The water is only getting warmer here.

:-)

Sounds great Biggen. A bunch of us come down to the panhandle quite frequently. It's the best diving around for us North Georgians. :) I was at vortex and morrison spring this past weekend. It's only an 50 min to an hr from PCB, and great diving when the gulf is out of the question. I'm sure we will be down there soon after the jeddies. I am planning a trip to destin in June. Destin isn't far from PCB either (an hr or so). Hang around the Deep Dixie Divers and Florida Conch Divers sub-forums and feel free to join us whenever you like. Everyone around those sub-forum's are great people and would be more than willing to dive with you. Look forward to meeting you in the future,

Matt

Welcome! It's good to meet another local. For the longest time I was here in PCB with nobody to dive with <<sniffle, sniffle,>> then I found Scubaboard and now can contact a whole bunch of people to dive with. It's been great fun meeting folks from the boards. There are a ton of great divers that you can learn a lot from. PM me if you wanna catch a local dive sometime.

I'm always up for Spring or Gulf diving. That is if I can beg for a day off...

Have fun. Stay safe.
