Hi everyone,

I know I am a little bit a newbie on this forum. I hope it will be a useful way for me to develop my love for scuba diving even more.

I started diving in Sicily to try it and I think I definitely caught the scuba bug there. Then, I got in February the SSI AOW and I hope after the lockdown ( if it is finally over some day ) I may dive more and get my rescue and perhaps go up to the Divemaster.

As for my gear , I picked up an aqualung prescription mask , a Mares Quad Air with AI and Scubapro Go sport fins to begin with. I am still waiting a bit to get my wetsuit , my regulator and BCD. Yet, if you can recommend me stuff that gives bang for your bucks, I would be really pleased to hear from you.

Thank you for greeting me in your community,
Have fun

Welcome, coustus! :)

Thank you for your warm welcome
Best to get started on a positive note. Had the first response somewhere else on the board been an attack on your diving, nationality, politics, etc., you'd never want to log back in again. (Mark my words, at least one of these will happen soon enough. )

Hi. Best bet would be to get good, used equipment. Not the wetsuit. Guaranteed someone peed in it.

howdy and welcome from southeast florida usa....get a new wetsuit..you can rent everything else...happy diving.
