Hi all! Just a brief bit on me: I received my Open Water and Advanced Open Water certs in 1990. My wife and I dove quite frequently for many years and served as members of our local underwater rescue and recovery team. We dove darn near every river, lake and mud puddle in central Jersey.

Then . . . we decided to start a family. "Shouldn't affect our diving", we thought. Ha! Good-bye diving for 5 years! Now I'm just getting back into it and can't wait to get underwater again. I have my first return dive scheduled for this Sunday. It's a wreck dive off the coast of the Jersey shore.

I got all of my equipment serviced and am ready to go. One problem! I have a Dacor Omni Pro computer but I lost the manual and "DOH!" :11: I forgot how in the heck to use the thing! Does anyone have a clue as to how I can get my hands on one? I emailed Dacor several times and never heard back from them.

Any input would be appreciated.

Thanks!

JohnS.

:wavey: Welcome to SB from lovely Haddonfield!

Ciao John and benvenuto,
I had similar problem with the arrival of our son. But only similar. Wife of course could not dive while pregnant. I dove. Then once the baby was born and we decide to go diving we just and still do if there is nobody taking care of him (son is now 19 months old) a dive each. We did our first dive together beginning of June in the red sea after 17 + 9 months. Fantastic going down again with your buddy…

Hope the wreck is not too deep for the first dive after 5 years.

Sorry can not help for the computer. I have an oceanic and a Suunto.

Enjoy your dive

Ciao
