Hi, all.

I am a long-time/low-dive-count diver from New Hampshire. I got my PADI OW in Guam while I was in the Navy about 12 years ago. My buds and I dove every day for the few weeks our sub was in Guam. After that I dove once in my homeport of San Diego (around '94). Nothing after that until last year when my wife and I went to Cozumel. We've already made the reservations for our return trip to Cozumel this year. What a paradise, huh?

Anyway, I thought I'd just check in and say hi. As an inexperienced diver I try to be thoughtful and aware of the divers around me so I don't ruin their dive. Hopefully, you all can help me increase my knowledge so I can become a valued member of the dive boat I happen to be on and of the diving community in general.

**ADDED**

I almost forgot my dive in Fiji. It's one I'd rather forget, though. Unbelievably strong currents, fire coral, and no exposure protection do not add up to a fun dive.

Welcome aboard! You'll find SB to be a wonderful forum. I just did the Cozumel thing in March, and you are right, what a paradise! Keep bubbling!

Small world, I got my OW and AOW while working for the Air Force in Guam. I really miss the island and hope to get back again someday. My wife and I are originally from NH, but are currently working in TX. We did Cozumel two years ago, and will be spending a couple weeks in Bonaire next month. One of these days, I hope to do some diving around the Isles of Shoals, if my spoiled a** can handle the cold that is.
