just waiting for things to thaw.

have a simple question (please excuse my inexperience), is there a standard color code for the plastic covered weights I see used on boats? Around here about all we use are just bare lead weights.

welcome from Arizona

Welcome, SBW---from a Missourian living in Key Largo, Florida now!

In answer to you question.....there is no standard color--it all depends on the manufacturer.

Hello from Kansas City! Glad you found the board. Where in the state are you?

welcome aboard

Smart move - we left sunny New Mexico for MO - and bypassed the job offer in Miami - didn't realize exactly how cold Missouri winters are til last month ........hmmmmm visiting the daughter in Key West might be the best option to stay sane. Is there any good diving here in Missouri - as funny as that sounds?

Hi SBW,

Welcome to ScubaBoard, and how nice would it be if people answer your question!!
Weightbags usualy have a ticket what indicates the weights of them.
Plastic weight covers normally are also showing written their weights.
Colors do not tell anything.

Nice Dives

Robert
