I live in SE Michigan as well. Depending on where you took your class they sometimes let you come back and use the pool to refresh/work on your skills. I did my confined dives last November and my OW dives this past Feb. In the mean time I went back and refreshed in Jan. The place I did my class uses a high school pool in Lake Orion. They get together about once a month at the pool to get some underwater time during the winter. They typically use it on a Sunday morning and the pool charges a usage fee of $10/person. Might be something to consider while waiting for the snow to melt.
