Just wanted to say hello. I'm taking my OW class this month, although I've been snorkeling for years on vacation. Want to get a bit closer to the reef.

Thanks for such a great board.

Howdy!

Welcome to SB!!
:happywave Put us in your computer's favorites and check in often. This is a great place to learn, compare, argue :argue: Look around our various forums - everything from New-To-Scuba to Instructors-Only to Dive Medicine.

I snorkeled a lot before I got into Scuba. Helped me to already know how to use a mask, fins, mouthpiece, etc. JUST DON'T HOLD YOUR BREATH.

BTW - Did you set up your Profile? Some ideas for your Profle might be taken from looking at mine. Click on my Username to the upper left, then click on my Profile, and see what I've done. For your's, click the [CP] in the upper left of the screen, then click [Edit Profile]. If you need any more help, PM me direct.

It's addictive, but who cares?!?!?

Good friends and good info. What could be better???

P.S. - If you have not already done so, please fill out your profile.

woooops, hubby forgot to log out (of MY computer) so the post above this one is mine..... (murphdivers286) ;)

Welcome and good luck in your class.

Be sure to stop by the New2Scuba and Basic Scuba Discussions forums for good info.

And please post a trip report after you're certified. It's always nice to read a new diver's first impressions of the underwater world.

Best wishes,
Grier
