Hi.....
I am a Southern Cali Diver and love it. I just finished my Padi Advance class and already have about 20 dive. Just got back from Catalina and cant wait to dive again ! I just join this bord to see what adventures await in my new hobby. I am looking at buying my gear and would like to get advise on were the hot deals are. I am currently looking to buy my bc, reg and dive computer. So I have tons of questions. My first question is I am interested in a back inflating bcd, since I feel more comfortable in it. I was wondering if anyone has any experince with a Orion bcd by Triple L and hose less computers ?
Thanks for your any input in advance !

Hey! Welcome!

You might want to check out the So. Cal forum. We get together once a month (so far it has been rain or shine) for a Wrinkle's Dive. There is one this Saturday in Laguna of you are interested.

I dive with a hoseless computer (D9). Love it. Have also used the Cobra (not hoseless) and love that too. What are your questions? Since I don't have any experience with the BC you are asking about so I won't go there. Up in Beverly Hills is Reefseekers Dive Shop. I haven't been there but have gone on their charters. June is also scuba month at Sport Chalet and they have equipment on sale.

Post your questions about computers and I'm sure you will get some detailed answers.

Hi....I was wondering if anyone has any experince with a Orion bcd by Triple L ...

I personally have not used any TripleL products, but Scottfiji has made a couple purchase. I believe he bought a BC for his girlfriend and a wetsuit for himself. I don't think he was happy with the purchase, but PM him and I'm sure he'll share.

If you think you'll fit into a XL BCD, I have a LIKE NEW Aeris Atmos XL for sale. Here's the link if you are interested. I just added photos. We dive in the Redondo Beach area every weekend and Wednesday nights at Veterans Park. If you are interested let me know. Feel free to come out for a dive and try it out.

See you in the water.

Hey Abad36, welcome to SB. Now you've done it, there are now way more SoCal divers than Norcal divers on the board.;) Great place to meet up with divers in your area and find out all about the gear you plan to buy. Good luck and welcome aboard.

Yes, be sure to check out your local dive club forum by following this path thru the Matrix: ScubaBoard.Com > Regional Travel & Dive Clubs> North America> United States> California Kelp Divers> SoCal, as well as stopping in on our New Divers & Those Considering Diving forum.
