Welcome from a fellow Hooiser...Terre Haute

A lot of divers in the area will go with Bare or Pinnacle. Not as pricey as DUI and they have more stock sizes so no need for a custom suit. Most will also go with the trilam or whatever they are calling the newest.

I haven't had any problems with squeezes (unless I don't have enough air in the suit);). I prefer the Trilaminate material, but it is a matter of personal preference and type of conditions you will be in. If you can find a couple of shops in your area that rent drysuits, you can try out different styles and manufacturers before purchasing.

Crpntr133 makes a good point about stocked sizes and that is something to consider. I'm an average sized person and have no problem buying off the wrack.

Good luck.

Thanks for the encouragement SD!! The dives went great. 35F for my first dry dives was a rude awakening, but I stayed in fairly good control of the suit and I absolutely loved the new experience. You can check out the following video that my buddy took on the trip. I am the guy in the Zeagle Ranger BC. The view of the paddlefish is awesome!!:D
