I came across this board while surfing. I don't dive but snorkel where most dive. I've got a boat (25' Wellcraft w/ twin 150s) in Key Largo that I don't use as much as I would like. If anyone wants to go out, just put gas in my boat buy a few sodas and let’s go. Email me if you’re interested. I don't dive so you’d need to bring your own buddie(s).

Not the last native floridian. Born and raised (although at 16 some might say I'm still being raised)

Ever thought about diving? I used to snorkel all the time. Scuba is definatly a welcome difference. And too bad you didn't post earlier, I was just down ther. Would have been nice to have gone out again.

:poking:

I have definitely thought about getting certified as a matter of fact I probably will in the next few months, but I think I will probably still go tankless a lot. One thing I notice when snorkeling or freediving around divers is that they are noisy. It seems that I get to see and hear things that divers miss. Just last week I came across a huge Jewfish (or what ever they call them these days) and was able to get into close proximity to him or her for quite a while, almost but not quite close enough to touch. When the divers came around, he left. Diving does look to be a lot of fun and I am looking forward to when I do get certified.

from Virginia Beach (born and raised in Florida). Thanks for the invite and if I am down your way I will be sure to email and take you up on your offer. Have fun and enjoy the boards...

What a generous guy you are. If I lived in Florida, I'd be calling! Even an avid scuba diver often enjoys a day of freediving. I have done many freedives after maxing out my nitorgen for the day. Glad you are joining us here.

Welcome from Texas.
