Hello from Colorado

Hello All,

I and my SO were introduced to snorkeling on our Oahu vacation last November. We are now addicted fish watchers and just came back from a week snorkeling/free diving in southern Florida (Ft Lauderdale through the Keys and out to Dry Tortugas). We are trying our hand at underwater photography/video to capture our adventures.

I ran into this "squigglie thing" crawling along the sand at Dry Tortugas. The picture appears from behind. The other end appeared to have eyes. It seemed to ripple along its sides to move along the sand. I watched it at the surface for awhile before taking a dive down and it appeared to be moving, albeit slowly. Looked through my reef guide and online and cannot figure out what this thing is. Any ideas?

I loaded it onto the scubaboard photos section but this software won't let me post a link (It is under marine invertebrates posted by snorkelnow).
