Hi everyone,
I'm going for my OW cert the next two weekends here in Chicago through UWsafaris. I've had a bit of experience with snorkeling and some pool diving and decided after recently going to Hawaii for vacation to get my cert. I'm a 25y/o guy and pretty soon I'll be needing some dive buddies if anyone doesn't mind having a newbie tag along with them. Looking forward to interacting with all of you here on the board.
 
welcome to the board from NW Indiana. I will be getting certified here shortly too. I know there is a lot of diving that is done around here...so keep me in mind if you hear of anything.

Welcome. Get your diving in soon. The water is starting to get colder and by the middle of this month, it will be to cold to have comfortable dives for average wet suit divers. Enjoy your class and hope to see you at the quarry. I'm there quite a bit.
