HELLO ALL,
Darryl here.
I got a heads up that this was the place to meet, greet, get advice, share stories, ask & learn - so here we go - I'm new to the diving, hoping to dive down south, soon, trainning is done but need to do my check out dives yet. I'm looking at regs & wanted input on what's a good starter that'll grow with mt talents for a few years, Any thoughts, I'm all ears......

I'm Half Canadian...but Ice Diving, Cold Water Pacific Diving....Ohhhh. I remember the times. I'm happy sitting here in the bathtub of the South Pacific. Glad you joined and welcome!!

Hello, fellow Canadian, and welcome to the Board and the world of diving, you'll find that the divers up here in Ontario are a nice group of people. For regs, I would go with a set of ATX 200. They are a great alround reg. that you will have a hard time out growing, I use mine Ice Diving and never had a problem. They are a great deep reg. aswell.

ok, Thanks to all for the warm welcome - I've decided the best way to deal with an intended addiction is to feed it so......I'm booked for a May 21st dive cruise on Blackbeards out of Mami, any hints of what to bring/expect I'm all ears..........
