I was diving off of Santa Barbara Island. It was one of those days when the visability was great, and thats when we first heard them. They were pretty far off, but it was clear what they were. They make the most fantastic noises. We watched from a distance in the water while they passed, it was great there was about 12 that we could count. We got back on the boat after they were out of sight under water, and followed them. I was lucky and had a spare camera with a long lens on it. While everyone else was busy getting theirs out of the housing I got some great photos. It was one dive I will never forget.
