I'm a Fish!
Hey guys.
I'm a newish diver in Billings, Montana. I'm young, in college, and passionate about diving. Currently, I'm taking my open water course through my school, but I've been diving several times before, and figured it was time I got certified. I'm more into technical stuff like caves, wreck penetration, and deep diving, but that'll have to wait till I get more dives under my weight belt. I'm extremely into diving, and considering a career in it.

Your story sounds similar to mine, I went diving before certification, got certified in college then worked my way up through instructor and ran a college program myself. Does your school offer more classes beyond certification?

Not as of now, but the instructor is looking into it.
 
Very cool. When I started running my college program, I only had Open Water and Advanced. Within a couple of years, I had added Rescue, two Divemaster courses, Emergency First Response and at least 2 specialty courses per term. It's a great way to let financial aid pay for a SCUBA habit :)

Definitely. I'm going as far as PADI's training will take me, and beyond. I hope to eventually make diving my career.
