New Diver here...I got certified in a 39 degree mid-Atlantic quarry last month and I can't wait to do some "better" diving! I'm already hooked on the forum. Glad to be here :)

Welcome to the board!

Welcome! I'm in columbia right across the street from elkridge. I'm starting to do some local quarry dives to work on my skills and take in the local diving. If you want to do some sometime drop me a PM, or stop by the Mid-Atlantic section of this board.

Hi, and welcome to the board from a fellow Marylander!!!

You're a lot tougher than me. 4 times, over two days. It must have been challenging going back the second day. Wow.

Enjoy SB and PM me if I can help you with anything here...

Hi Ashley, welcome to ScubaBoard. Where are you planning to dive, someplace warm I take it, 39 is darn cold, here in Monterey we at least get the mid 50's

well, I'm moving to Cocoa, FL next month for grad school....much, much warmer!! My cold water experience did NOT go well, so I'm sticking to 70F+ for awhile.
