Hi all,
I only arrived here three weeks ago and have had a great time so far - what an amazing part of the world this is. Anyway, I am here for work (well thats the excuse i am sticking with) and having qualified as an open water diver in January this year and then advanced in March I am looking to get some diving in.
I also did a four day liveaboard around the Similan and Surin islands in April as part of a trekking holiday in Thailand which was amazing. Apart from that though, it has been UK quarries all the way which were good to learn in but not much to see apart from the sunk planes and helicopters.
Just for info, I posted a message on the drysuit thread earlier because I am looking for advice on a new purchase I am considering. It is a Whites Nexus suit and seems to be at a good price (1089 can $ for the whole suit, insulation stuff and all hoses etc).
Anyway I am sure I will get to know some of you as time goes by and if you are anywhere around Vancouver and fancy getting out in the water then drop me a line.
Cheers,
Phil
