Hello ScubaBoard members,

Thank you for having me on this really useful forum - long time lurker, finally a joiner now that I have questions which are so specific I cannot find previous threads on them.

Background: predominatly a drysuit diver off the south coast of the UK, very much still new to this having only qualified a couple of years ago. Thoroughly enjoy trips abroad for the visibility, but also rather enjoy the poor vis here given when you finally do see something, it's all the more exciting.

I'll be posting some specific equipment queries in due course, and in the meantime, thank you for having me.

Hi, dive wise the U.K. has a variety of dive sites, the waters are now warming up on the Scottish west coast, last Sunday it was up to 11’C.

Have you joined your local BSAC club, where you’ll get plenty of guidance on diving our fantastic waters.
Thanky you for the recommendations, and yes, been out a few times so far this year with my local BSAC club. Always enjoyable even if the weather turns.

Welcome

Have you voted in the BSAC election yet? Please vote for me as Chair.
Don't know any of the people so watched the teams presentations and read the write-ups. Still don't know if the votes went to the most suitable candidates.
