Hi, my name is Steve. Orginally certified by NAUI in 1985, I left the sport as a starving college student. I rediscovered SCUBA in 2005. Now 83 dives later I am a PADI assistant instructor about to begin work with an environment restoration group and start on my research diver certification. I made two trips to Maui last year and made about 20 dives there, but SoCal is still my favorite dive location. Nothing beats the biomass and diversity of a kelp forest.

Welcome to the ScubaBoard! Looks like your back into diving full force! Enjoy!!!!

Hi Steve!

Welcome to SB! Congratulations on your PADI Asst Inst rating. I am an Instructor myself for SSI and ANDI and I love working with students!

I just got back from Cozumel, but make frequent trips to Santa Catalina, San Clemente and sometimes Santa Barbara. I went to San Nicholas once and it was spectacular! We are in your neck of the woods at least 2 or 3 times per month!

Maybe I'll see you in the kelp!
