Just wanted to say Hi to everyone. I am pre-brand new to Scuba! I have done alot of snorkeling, and decided to make the jump to full open water certifcation. Classes start in Feb. (was too late for dec. will be out of town in Jan) and I can't wait.

:wave:Welcome to the Scuba Board. :hi: Fun place to hang out, compare, argue, etc. :thumb:

I snorkeled on ocean trips for years, free diving to 35 feet at times, then finally tried a Resort Scuba course. I was hooked, and never looked back.

Now you just need to be patient through your long surface interval. If you spend some time on this board, you should be well ahead of the pack when you start your ow class in feb.

Have fun!

with what Loiret said.
I've been hangin' around for about a month, and have a month to go before my class starts. I know for a fact that I'm ahead of the game, and that you will be too.

Happy diving.

Good for you!!! Congrats, dive safe!
