HI guys

I,m glad to have found your site! My 16 year old daughter just compleated her SSI ow class and I took a refresher class with her. She and I are excited to get back in the water as she has been snorkeling with me for the last five years or so. We had a really good instrustor (Parker Owen from dive locker and ski chalet) who made the class fun and interesitng. The open water checkout at Ginnie Springs was rainy but lots of fun! Cant wait to take her to West Palm or back to the Keys for her first look at the reef.

Congrats to your for getting back in the water and to your daughter for getting her certification!

You should visit our Deep Dixie Divers forum to find out more about what's going on in your area and the Florida Conch Divers forum to see if you can meet up with some of our Florida members for a dive or two... or three or four. I hear they dive their faces off down there!

Don't forget to fill out your profile, so that we can add context to your future posts. Also, once we know where you are geographically, you may find that you'll have a whole bunch of new dive buddies to choose from locally.
