new to the board, been diving for about 10 years....currently a NOAA Scientific Diver, PADI Advanced, Nitrox, etc. etc. etc....

located in Corpus Christi TX, if I dive around here, then its a rig-dive or jetties, don't get out too much......lived in the Keys for a summer doing an internship for REEF.....level 4 "fishwatcher"....just bought a camera last year, still learning how to use it, just a canon powershot in a housing.....I have about a 20 minute movie and lots of stills from a trip to the Flower Gardens last year, but am firewalled here at work and can't post my goodies.....will be getting internet at the house (just bought and moving in, setting up).....

couple of comments from other threads, nice splendid toadfish txbob, which dive location did you get that from? favorite dive around (so far) is the Santa Rosa Wall, although Chinchorro is outstanding as well.....

Mrs. Fic, nice pics too and like the story about hanging with the "fish nerds" one evening, kind of curious if you will identify them.....I do a lot of the same on trips....always have a slate or camera or equipment underwater, I am ruined and can't do "fun dives" anymore!

looking to head back down the Mayan Riviera in Jan/Feb, and haven't been in several years.....could use some "fresh" info on where to stay around the Xcalak/Majahual area, as I want to get back out to Chinchorro again (didn't have a camera the first time).....

well, everyone have fun!

I was swimmin' in the Caribbean
Animals were hiding behind the rocks
Except the little fish
But they told me, he swears
Tryin' to talk to me, coy koi.
