Looks like you guys and gals have quite a site here!
I am a not to often diver lately, but after reading some of your threads I look forward to getting back to it.
I have one question, I hope it dosn't sound dumb, but here it goes...
Last week I took a spill on the dock where we keep our boat, with all the rain here in upstate NY we have had this year, the docks never seem to dry out, well anyways, I bruised the inside of my thigh badly, the bruise is about a foot long and about 8" wide and still very sore. I am concerned because my neighbor and I are suppose to dive this afternoon, and I am wondering if there could be any dangers with clotting and diving? or am I worried for nothing? I don't normally bruise
and this is a first. Thanks, and I'm glad I found this site!

:sunny Hi there! My name is Matt. Welcome to Scuba Board! I came here looking for help with my diving dream. I’ve met a lot of nice divers and many helpful divers too. I think you will get the information you need from SB. I look forward to reading more of your posts about your diving adventures. If you’d like to chat, please PM me.
I am looking forward to seeing you some more around the boards!

Welcome to the board... you'll find lotsa info on the board...
One thing you may want to try is to use the search feature. Someone may have already asked your question and it would be quicker than waiting for responses... although the repsonse seem to come pretty fast. :)
Dive safe...

Welcome to the asylum,er, board! Hope you heal quickly! Warm weather's starting to leave us in the great north!

Welcome to ScubaBoard! :happywave

Well, I was going to say, "Try a post on the Diving Medicine forum" just like Scott, but I see that it's already afternoon where you are. Hope things worked out!

Dive safe!

Christian

P.S. Due to the high volume of new posts in the Introductions and Greets forum, it's not always possible to keep up with all the new posts here. So, please help me out and send me a PM if you post anything you want me to read or repsond to in this forum.

Hi there. My name is Kayla, and I have been diving for over two years now. I think that you will be able to learn a lot from ScubaBoard, and hopefully you can post about some of your own experiences as well! If you have any questions, PM me! Otherwise, I hope to get to know you better around the boards!

Safe diving!

Welcome to the board - you'll find lots of answers - and maybe even more questions! Seriously, lots of great information and opinions.

Hope the bruse heals fast, get a professional opinion. Although, I'll say that I bruse easier now that I'm older also!

Where upstate? My brother lives upstate also - near Watertown.

Best

Charlie

Howdy!

I just want to join the others in welcoming you to SB. Hope to get to know you around the forums.

We normally suggest not diving when you have any problem, and I'd fear a cramp in the hurt leg. Those are no fun.

It's gonna' be a little quite around here for the next week, as our Florida friends hunker down to hide from a big storm, :sofa: then get their electricty going again, and many other members enjoy the holiday weekend. I'm In Ontario to dive the St.L myself, but I brough my laptop with me.

Completing your Profile and seperately - keeping your Dive Info up to date helps in future diving instructions. PM me if I can help you learn your way around.
