Hello everyone from Washington, DC

I was looking at what my diving options were and I ran into the link for this board and signed up in hopes of getting some ideas for getting diving experience, and possibly finding a dive buddy! I live in the Washington DC area, but traveled all the way to Bocas del Toro, Panama to get my PADI open water certification. Previously I did some smaller dives in Roatan, Honduras and Punta Plata, Dominican Republic. I am quite the newbie though, and want to get some experience close to home before I venture further away.

Oh I hope so. It's more of a motivation to get out there and do things if you know there are people to meet up with!

There are plenty of mud holes to practice in.

Millbrook is about an hour from DC.

That's not bad at all. I will call them up and see if that shop still has their "fun dives".
