Germany, but preferably Canada
as i was asked by the admin i'm saying hello to everybody. I stumbeld over this website by accident and i found it very interesting. I'm very interested in reading news about scuba diving and getting into talking to people all over the world, exspecially from Canada. I'm a female PADI instructor, single, 40 years young and I'm from Germany. I lived in the Caribbean and in Canada for all together almost 3 years. So I hope this is good enough for the beginning. I love to take part in forums and I'm very curious to see what's going to happen in here. And I would like to get into personal contact with Canadian or German people. So just let's see what happens.

Cheers

WELCOME to ScubaBoard!!!
That's a great intro and your profile is complete too.
Yup, an auspicious beginning!
Now, where in Canada would you rather be? Where in Germany are you? I love Germany, and I've liked every place I've visited in Canada, but I wonder at your preference for Canada.
I could probably list a few guesses, but I don't want to lead you.
It's good to have you with us and I hope to see your traces often as I read through the forums.

Hey Flipper!

Yep. Heck of a job! :D

I think the curious diver in you will LOVE scubaboard. I know I can't stop reading it. A diver with your experience will have a lot more to contribute than I do. I look forward to reading your posts!

Be sure to check out the regional forums for the areas that you have lived and dove. Almost every region has its own club forum, and most are very active.

Again, welcome! :)

Heya and welcome to the Board.... Make sure to check out the Instructor 2 Instructor forum as soon as you can. It's a great place for professionals to chit chat and compare notes. (You'll have to have a moderator set you up with this, as it's only for Instructor's and other dive professionals, Cbulla or Scuba_Jenny should be able to help you out with this) Anyways, welcome again, we're certain glad to have you

Hey Tom, well my preference for Canada is because I've lived together with a Canadian for three years (first in the Caribbean and the last 6 months in Nova Scotia) and i liked it a lot. I left and went back to Germany in May because he died in April. He was a commercial diver and had a dive accident on Statia. Treatment even in Canada wasn't good enough to save his life.

p.s. nice picture you got there, I have a dog as well

Hi Flipper. Welcome to the board. I am sorry to hear of your loss. I am neither Canadian nor German but I have great English accent from the NE of England. I am sure that you will participate on the board and I can tell from your profile that you will have lots of experience to share with us newbies... Safe diving.
