Hello, my name is Tomas and I'm from the Czech republic. We don't have a sea here, therefore I'm usually diving in flooded mines where are various diving conditions such as cold water, often zero visibility, very silty bottom and so on. But I like it, because those conditions are forcing me to increase my diving skills and every time I can look forward to something new. I would like to exchange my experiences with another divers, and...improve my poor English. Bye Tom.
 
Your English is very good, probably better than mine! I admire divers who dive in cold water and low vis, I think I would get nervous in low vis. I'm in Florida, USA and dive in warm waters. We have alot to learn from you.

Welcome to the group! I agree your english is very good! You will be so suprised if you ever get to dive in warm water with good vis and lots of fish! Flooded mines sounds cold but adventurous.

I absolutely agree with you about all the various benefits you listed about cold water diving. I was always a warm water vacation diver until last month when I started to dive locally in quarries and lakes so that I can have more bottom time. Zero viz forces me to trust my instruments, cold water has toughened me and silty bottom has improved my finning. I love both cold and water water diving for their differences but especially because both gives me a reason to blow bubbles.

And Tomas...agree with the others your English is good.

Thanks to all. Thanks also for blessing my English, but I think it is not so hot. I'm still learning and it is very hard for me to express all things what I want to say. If anyone could occasionally warn me where I have made a mistake, it would be great and thanks very much also for that. :-)
