Hi all.

Just as the title says I'm another newbie from FL down in the Stuart area, if anyone's in the area hit me up I'm always looking for dive buddies.

I know I'm new to diving and would love to get out there more but it's really hard as a single woman to find people around here to dive with so I was led to this site and am hoping to have more luck this way.

I don't have many dives under my belt but I will be getting my Advance Open Water this month which I'm super excited about!!!

Welcome to :sblogo: Alana......... You live in a good part of the state for diving. And you have two other things going your way, You're single and a woman. So, finding dive buddies shouldn't be a problem. :D Seriuosly though...... Everyone here on SB has been a new diver before and most here don't mind new divers, me included but I'm on the other side of the state. I'm sure you'll find several new buddies here.

Welcome to scubaboard, Im in the PSL area, and work in Stuart. My days off vary, but more than happy to do some dives with you if tides and days off work out.

Welcome! You have a very nice over there...the Blue Heron Bridge! I dove it this year during the police games, it was a blast! Lot's of stuff to see, I also recommend doing the night dive when Force E scuba does it. Happy diving!

lol Yeah I hear it's a good place for diving and so far from what I've seen it hasn't been bad. And as for being a single woman you would think it would work but so far I don't think that has worked in my favor :( lol are you up for coming over and going diving maybe we can get a group together.

I don't usually have a consistent schedule which always leaves me open for diving if it's just planned so just let me know. Lord knows I think I need to get back out there before I go for my AOD at the end of the month for at least a refresher.

Yes I actually love the Blue Heron Bridge. When I got certified we dove there and I will be diving there again on the 25th for the Navigation portion of my Advance. I usually stay at a hotel up the road so I'm in the area for day 2. And on day 2 we will be doing our night dive with Deep Obsession, can we say super excited?? The last time I did a night dive was in Key Largo almost 2 years ago and that trip was a tad bit interesting with lessons learned.

Hey Alana.

Check out the Florida Conch Divers sub forum. Lots of us here. Everybody is very friendly with a couple get togethers a year.

Epic conditions yesterday and today.
