Hello all

Hi. I've been reading these boards for a while, just now registered. My partner is Marral, another recent arrival.

We live in Toronto (actually Mississauga), Ontario, and are very recent PADI OW certified, heading to Belize next week to get salty for the first time.

More later...this seems like a friendly place!

Any friend of Marral's is a friend of ours! And, yes, this is a friendly place...even to beer swilling, hockey stick wielding, ice diving folks from the Land of Nanook!

Belize! I'm jealous! You'll definately have to post your trip here and let us all hear about it. Check out this thread for information from Zagnut on Belize.

First welcome to the board, and all the fun and games we have here.

As Marral has probably mentioned to you, we're a real friendly bunch.

Marral and I chatted recently so I do know a few more things.... but that's just between us :tease:

You're lucky to be heading south soon, and I'm envious of you. When the real diving season starts again next year the Ontario contingent will be in touch to get you to go diving with us. In the mean time keep in touch. Some of the group live down your way (close enough as the government would say) to do a meet and greet.

Oh you might want to watch out for some of the unique individuals around here, relatively harmless (or so they say), but with real wicked sense of humour. I really don't have to identify them, you'll discover them soon enough.
