New to the board, I am PADI Open H2O cert, with a whoppin 12 dives logged. Got my cert in Guam and have done dives there, Maui and Australia. I want to further my diving experience, maybe end up with a Resue cert or something along those lines.

Really! That's quite a list for your first 12 dives I don't know about Knavey, but I'm sure jealous!

Sounds like were twins by different mothers. Like you I'm new to the sport. My bestfriend/spouse and I got certified because we had booked a trip to French Polynesia. Our first 13 dives in salt water were places like Tahiti, Bora Bora, and Rarotonga! What a way to get started!

I have a dive trip planned to a local quarry, soon. Somehow I don't think it will be the same kind of experience. I'm looking forward to the trip and the people just the same.

I found this board before our trip to FP, and the folks here were extreemly helpful with tips and contacts for our trip. Everyone has been extreemly friendly and there is a wealth of information to be gleaned from the posts. If you have any specific questions, you need only ask. These folks share their experience freely.
