Just got certified this year and lovin it! I've been interested in diving since I was 10, and never got around to it. I had an uncle that used to dive. I've got just over 10 dives in, mostly around Wisconsin mostly inland lakes and quarries, but I'm itching to jump into Lake Michigan. Just wetsuit stuff at this point, but the cold hasn't bothered me so far. Just testing the water to see how cold I can stand before I quit for the winter. So far its been as cold as 40, and I'm still doing good.

LOL good deal with the diving :) I have over 100 dives yet only 69 meet padi standards but hey the cold is a big part of my early dives. Some going to 43 degrees :) Hang in there and be tough :) oh and welcome to the board :)

Welcome to the ScubaBoard! Many years of warmer diving too!!!
