OK, I'm new to this Site. I'm not a diver but my son and hubby are. I am just in charge of doing all research and trip planning.
Just made reservations to Grand Sirenis in Akumal. Now I'm looking for some info about the dive op on site or in the area. Thought I would check in here and see what I can find.

Thank you both for the Welcome!!!!
I have spent more time on here today than I really want to admit. Learning to get around and I already have some of my questions answered. Thank you all for the op for me to visit, read, and learn from those who have been here before.
Happy Travels to all....and Safe Diving....

Captain Walt,
Funny you should ask. He had Shoulder Surgery and was out of work for 6 months. Last time he dove was 2 months before surgery and could not use his arm. He needed alot of help with equipment (and getting that wet suit on:D).

Welcome - wish Bob a speedy recover from the board.

welcome aboard

Thanks for the wishes. He is back to work and the arm is working almost perfect. So glad I won't have to help him with the wet suit this year :D. I would love to dive, can't get enough of the pics and it kills me that I just can't get it...My body says your breathing underwater and all is good...My mind says this is not possible, time to freak out. Maybe one day. In the mean time I get to do all the planning and go where I want to go as long as he can dive. Life is good.
