Sunny Southern Cal.
First of all where is my picture?? LOL!

I've been reading some of the subjects, & it seems every buddy,
is looking for a dive buddy, & it seems like this is the place, to hook up. For the southern cal divers.

I think I'll have some cards made up for this new hobby, & pass them out.

I really don't think a diver can have enough dive buddies, in his or her network of buddies?

I need some help, I purchased a book on diving in Southern Cal.
But the info is limited, & the hike from the parking lot, to the dive site, seems like a deterent!

Maybe I'm just expecting too much? (let me know)
But is there a place for a Open Water Diver, to drive up to & park,
open my trailer, get the gear out, & walk to the beach, no more than 100 feet? & when I return to the trailer, relax on the beach under my canopy, chaw down, swap tanks, & dive again, & so on
then start the fire pit, fire-up the Bar-B-Q, cookup some T-Bonesmmmm Just the thought makes me crave for a river run, But, now I'm into diving. of course the tunes would be cranking.

Ok it sounds like camping? The dive location would have to be great as well!

I'm trying to avoid the pounding surf!

Well, that's my idea of having a good time, for a great weekend
it's kind of what I do at the river, but instead of the jet-ski, I'll be diving.

Maybe, I need another book?

North cal, or Baja?

I just wanted a short drive, within (six hours). from Long Beach.

Any suggestions? take your time.

To all the very advanced divers, sorry! I bet all the new divers ask the same quetion, (But I need your help.)

Thank You for your time
Max :-)

That would be Leo Carillo Beach in Mailbu.

or Point Dume, Malibu

or Paradise Cove (3 hours free parking with meal in resturant, otherwise its $20.00 parking).

Corral Beach,

Fish House

These would be my recommendations. Otherwise there is going to be a bit of a hike. Laguna Beach has several great sites down some stairs or a paved ramp.

Thank you, PASLEY!, for the 411, on some local spots, I just dig this board.

I like the GPS numbers, It make it nice to plan a trip from the house as I drive. Just follow the arrow.

Thanks again :)
